Comfortable with the Uncomfortable

In the span of four years throughout university, my curiosity for unfamiliar cultures led me to travel to over thirty countries, study on two continents, move abroad alone to Germany, and teach abroad in Taiwan. The greatest lesson that came from these experiences — learning to become comfortable with the uncomfortable. I realized then that discomfort acts as a vessel for personal growth by empathically welcoming new perspectives with an open mind.

To capture these raw experiences and the lessons I gained, I began writing and discovered a love for journaling, where I can honestly practice self-awareness of my inner thoughts. From this blog, I hope you can live vicariously along my side, feel inspired to seek discomfort, and start your journey of becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable.
