tourist in my new home

Chinatown

On July 27th, I flew out of Seattle to Singapore. Two days beforehand, I finished my physical chemistry final, took a leave of absence for my research job, and completed my shadowing gig. I had absolutely no time to mentally process this new adventure I was about to embark. I even went out to Rhino Room the night before my flight for Andy’s 21st and got home at 1:30 am to start packing.

I was fortunate to have my entire family fly with me to Singapore. With two weeks to spare before the start of the semester, I was able to play tourist as I explored with my family. Shoutout to Michelle for being my personal photographer and what a beautiful start to making Singapore feel like home!
